The first cross-border green-field project of MARS Greiftechnik Gmünd und StrojÍrenský podnik MARS České Velenice is since January 1, 1999 under operation and act as a referee for an optimal usage of the advantageous location in both countries. Both companies in Gmünd and České Velenice act interconnected just 50 metres from each other. The production flows are organised as - boundless - based on the location and on possibilities provided by the Austrian and Czech legal systems. A border crossing point on the firms plots enables movements of goods and materials over the border at any time. Listed staff can also use this border brossing point subject to Austrian and Czech Law on Employment.
